FM7 just has more going on, more 'life' - and that doesnt neccesserily mean 'people', just like, flags waving instead of being static, or tyre walls. Car-wise, GT is the clear winner, but honestly, when it comes to the enviroment, I still think FM7 is the one to beat. So yeah, GT7 has got slightly more tracks but quite a bit less cars than Forza Motorsport 7.

Polyphonics have squeezed out all of the potential of PS5 and made GT7 look, sound and perform gorgeously with a large range of cars and tracks, deep customisation and a pretty. It looks and feels more like a classical car game with racing tracks that veterans of this genre will respect. But if you go into details, theres no dilemma that GT7 is the more serious of the two. Gran Turismo 6 does give you the option to buy game credits to let you skip over having to earn them through races. I can’t claim to know Turn 10’s intent, but if I ever found out that they held tracks back to be sold later, I’d be very disappointed. From the lack of fan-favorite tracks to the ever-present reminders that you can buy credits to level up faster, an underlying feeling of being asked to pay more weighed on me a bit. I love Forza Motorsport 5, but I could never shake the feeling that it was designed around a DLC strategy. The big premiere of the full Gran Turismo 7 game is coming.
